Recently many areas of Thailand were hit hard with the storm of the century and are still facing the worst flood in decades. Bangkok Dental Spa was among the first to reach out to the victims of the flood as it first happened. Bangkok Dental Spa have been donating fresh water, canned food, and other perishable and non-perishable goods necessary to aid the victims and to ease the situation. As always, the contributions have been made in our client's names. Therefore, we would like to extend our warm regards and to thank you for being a good friend to Bangkok Dental Spa. "HOPE" is what we have been carrying with us as we stretch our arms to reach out to those who needs help during what is considered to be one of the most difficult times in Southern Thailand.
Bangkok Dental Spa has, once again, played a small, but significant, part in a major effort to help people rebuild their lives from a disastrous flood over the past few weeks. With contributions from our friends from around the world, water and perishable goods are provided to relieve the victims of the flood from thirst and hunger as the situation with water and food are worse than hard-to-find. We will continue our effort to do whatever we can in our power to support those in need while they seek out "HOPE" for the new day.

The Haikus above sum up our feelings here at Bangkok Dental Spa well. Immediately following the hearing of the sad news, we are among the first to put forth the effort to ease the pain and suffering of the victims of the recent hard-hit disaster in Japan. A significant amount of funding was made to the Red Cross Foundation on behalf of the professionals and staffs and patients of Bangkok Dental Spa.
In addition, with help from our friends from all around the world, we have continued to gather additional funding to be made in the near future. Though our effort may seem small compared to the magnitude of the disaster, we truly believe that greatness comes from an accumulation of small victories. We are, and will continue to be, among the victories much needed in Japan right now.
The pictures that come out of Japan clearly show the strength, discipline and tenacity of our Japanese friends that is greatly admired all over the world. We send you our best regards amidst the tragedy and we hope for nothing but a quick recovery. We look forward to seeing you smile again soon.

What’s happening this month?
Bangkok Dental Spa have entered the Thailand Tourism Awards and have put ourselves in the same field as the big medical service providers in Thailand. Thus far, we have the honor to host a group of judges from the Thailand Tourism Authority as they come to learn of our years of support to the promotion of Medical Tourism in Thailand. It is truly an honor to be nominated, but a win would be just as nice. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.!!
 
 
Dear friends of Bangkok Dental Spa
The recent unsettling event in Thailand has shed its glooming shadow on the many aspects of the nation. Our most sincere appreciation goes to everyone who have written and called to inquire about our safety and well-being. Nothing is more important to us than the support and kindness from our friends during this difficult time. Such support has given us a tremendous strength to recover at a great speed with even more energy left to be shared. We are happy to inform you that we have, in your name, extended your support to the cleaning of our beloved city alongside the officials from the Bangkok Metropolitan. The professionals and staff at Bangkok Dental Spa spent a weekend scraping and washing the burnt rubber tires off of the affected streets and areas around Bangkok.

For the next 6 months, ALL dental services at Bangkok Dental Spa will be provided AT COST!!
The profits associated with each service will NOT be charged to our patients, but will be donated to the victims of the natural disaster in Haiti in our patients’ names instead. The amount donated will be based on the types of services our patients choose to receive from Bangkok Dental Spa.

Happy Valentine’s Day to all!!
A smiley hello from your friends and family at Bangkok Dental Spa. Spreading love and joy is a major part of this special day. I still remember putting heart stickers on all my favorite persons just to show my love and affection for them on the day. That is how kids in Thailand celebrate Valentine’s. I am sure there are varieties of ways to celebrate and I look forward to hearing back from you on how you share yours, but for now, let’s just start with how I celebrate mine.
It was a Sunday morning as I gathered my family up and headed out to Banka, a small and rural town in Ratchaburi province. About three hours after, we were greeted by an old patient of mine whom I have kept contact with over the years. He is now working as a volunteer English teacher at a school there The school is situated in a rural part of town where public transportation does not exist. Therefore, there is a major need for some kind of transportation that can help them avoid walking, or running in some cases, the distance. Students were often late to class which cut into their educational time. Thus, began the project to put 20 bicycles to be shared among students and community members around the school.
I can feel the excitement of the village kids as they ran to the football field to help unload and line-up the bicycles from the truck that followed us from Bangkok. As I watched my daughter, Tata, carefully helped my father got into his wheelchair, I noticed something that had been missing for years…a smile on my father’s face. I couldn’t help but walked over to where they were and gave them hugs and pecks on their cheeks. This is what “love” means to me. To spend quality time with my family. To give so I can fully enjoy what I have received. To share so I can appreciate the value of what I have.

The smiles on the kids face as they peddled the bicycles around needs no explanation…just know that together, we have given the people at Banka a very Happy Valentine’s Day.
