Hospital
is one of the biggest hospitals in Thailand providing tertiary
healthcare. The hospital was established in 1972 by a group
of doctors and pharmacists, starting with 5 specialists and
30 full time nurses. Today Bangkok Hospital has more than
400 full-time & consultant physicians and 600 nurses.

and is now the flagship of a whole network of hospitals throughout
the country: The Bangkok Hospital Group.

the following accreditation and awards:
- Bangkok
Hospital was the very first private hospital in Thailand
to receive the ISO 9002 & 9001:2000 accreditation;
- In
2001 Bangkok Hospital received the Prime Minister's Export
Award for Best Service Provider;
- Bangkok
Hospital received the Hospital Accreditation by the Ministry
of Public Health of Thailand;
- The
hospital was the first private hospital in Thailand to receive
the Board of Investment Promotion Privileges;
- In
September 2002 Bangkok Hospital won the 1st price at the
Hospital Management Asia Awards 2002 for the project of
Integration of Quality Improvement by using the Standard
Requirements of Hospital Accreditation and Brand Management.
